Terms of Service
The ground rules for using Riverroom to organise and share your games.
Last updated: 13 October 20261. Using Riverroom
These terms apply to Riverroom (“we”, “us”) and its poker game management features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You can contact us at tinytigerbcm@gmail.com.
You must be at least 18 years old and meet any higher age requirement that applies to your game or location. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Riverroom and any game you organise are lawful where you and your players are located.
2. What the service provides
Riverroom helps you create tournaments and cash games, manage players, run a tournament clock, record chip and buy-in values, prepare settlement instructions, and share live details and results.
Riverroom is an organising and record-keeping tool. It does not operate a poker table, hold player funds, collect buy-ins, transfer money, or verify that an external payment has been made. Players and hosts arrange their games and payments themselves.
3. Your account and responsibilities
Google sign-in identifies your account. Keep your Google account secure, use your own account, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for changes made using your signed-in account.
As a host, you are responsible for the game rules, participants, buy-ins, prizes, chip counts and payment confirmations you enter. Review calculations and settlement instructions before making payments. Riverroom cannot resolve disputes between players or reverse a payment made outside the service.
4. Player information and public links
You keep your rights to the information you enter. You give Riverroom permission to store, process and display it as needed to provide the features you use, including public game pages.
You must have permission or another lawful basis to enter other people’s information and explain to players that their game entries can be viewed publicly. Anyone with a game link can view and forward it, and search engines may index public pages. Do not enter private contact details or sensitive information into public game fields.
Our Privacy Policy explains how account information, game information, browser storage and analytics are handled.
5. Acceptable use
Use Riverroom responsibly. You must not:
- Use it to organise unlawful activity, facilitate fraud, or misrepresent payments or results.
- Access or change another person’s account or games without authorisation.
- Upload unlawful, abusive or misleading information, or disclose personal information you are not entitled to share.
- Attempt to bypass security measures, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, or misuse its APIs.
We may restrict access or remove content to address misuse, security risks or legal obligations. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and you may contact us with questions.
6. Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep Riverroom useful and reliable, but availability, timers, live updates and calculations may be affected by errors, device settings, connectivity or maintenance. We may change or discontinue features. Keep your own copy of information you need, and verify important game values and payment instructions.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Payments and liability
Amounts displayed in a game are records and instructions entered or calculated for that game; they are not funds held by Riverroom. A payment marked confirmed records the host’s confirmation and is not independent proof of payment.
Subject to rights that cannot be excluded by law, Riverroom is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect game entries, participant disputes, unlawful games, unauthorised sharing by a user, or transactions made outside the service. You remain responsible for checking the recipient, amount and legality of payments you make.
8. Leaving the service
You can stop using Riverroom at any time. Signing out ends the current session. You can delete public games and saved guest players through My Games. Completed statistics and hosting records remain available after a public game is deleted. You can remove friends to end access to each other?s statistics, or email tinytigerbcm@gmail.com to request account or personal-information deletion.
Deleting a saved player does not remove their entries from existing games, and deleting a game does not remove copies already made by other people. Retention of authentication records, logs and backups is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Updates and contact
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. The current terms and their last-updated date will appear here. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using Riverroom.
